In Mythologies I, I used the figure to illustrate the process of metamorphosis as we let go of old narratives and mature into more evolved beings. In Mythologies II, I aim my synthetic lens at the physical manifestations of some of our contemporary narratives: patriotism, power, success, desire, beauty, the tools of work and worship. These works are presented without judgement, rather their deconstructive nature exposes the absurdities of our attachment to the material, an invitation to examine our beliefs at a time when humanity is facing so many existential crises.
