Barry Sutton, is an American artist using AI and photography to challenge our preconceptions about beauty and the nature of truth. Known for his photographic work documenting youth culture, Sutton has become a leading practitioner of synthetic photography, producing radical, thought provoking work, extending the visual language of photography and lecturing around the world.

Sutton’s NFT collections “96° in the shade”, Traces of Truth and Rad all sold out on release to critical acclaim. Since 2021, Sutton has sold over 1400 1/1 works as NFTs. His work continues to attract the top collectors in the digital space and has also been published in French Vogue, New York Times T-Magazine and many others.

Sutton is the Chair of the Masters in Fashion Photography program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, working with young creatives to explore the concepts that underpin their photographic practice in the context of fashion.
